• Wipe down furniture and appliances, to remove dust and grime, particularly important for leather and fabric items. 

• Ensure all items are completely dry before storing to prevent mold and mildew.

• Clean fabric items like clothes, cushions, and linens before boxing.

• Fridges & Freezers: Defrost, drain, and wipe completely dry. 

• Washing Machines & Dishwashers: Drain all water, wipe dry, and disconnect hoses.
